Food Seller Guidelines

Keep your page real, current, and useful. Customers use WorkVan Eats to find food, then contact you directly.

Effective August 23, 2026 · Last updated August 23, 2026

1. Tell the truth

Use your real business or seller name, real contact information, authentic food photos, current prices, and accurate pickup details. Do not post food, credentials, permits, reviews, or claims that are false or misleading.

2. What the free tier includes

The current free tier includes one public seller profile and up to three active food posts at a time. You may edit a post, mark it sold out, or return it to draft before publishing another.

WorkVan Eats may offer optional paid tools later, such as more active posts, featured placement, scheduling, added media, or deeper activity information. No paid tier is active today, and free sellers are not automatically enrolled or charged.

3. Keep it current

Update menus, prices, availability, serving times, truck stops, and pickup instructions when they change. Mark sold-out food promptly.

4. You handle every sale

WorkVan Eats does not take orders, collect food payments, deliver food, or hold customer money. You handle questions, orders, payment, pickup, refunds, and customer service directly.

5. Food safety and legal responsibility

You are responsible for safe preparation, ingredients, allergens, labeling, permits, licenses, cottage-food or home-based exemptions, taxes, and any other rules that apply to your food business. A WorkVan Eats profile is not a permit, inspection, endorsement, or guarantee.

6. Content we may remove

WorkVan may hide or remove false information, unsafe or unlawful content, stolen photos, harassment, spam, prohibited items, misleading prices, or posts that do not belong on a local-food discovery site. Serious or repeated problems may lead to account suspension or profile removal.

7. Approval and contact

WorkVan reviews each seller profile before it becomes public. Approval connects the seller account to the profile; it does not guarantee sales, traffic, ranking, or permanent placement. Questions may be sent to brandon@workvanweb.com.
