Privacy Policy

This policy explains what WorkVan Eats collects, why we use it, and the choices available to food sellers and visitors.

Effective August 23, 2026 · Last updated August 23, 2026

1. Who we are

WorkVan Eats operates a local-food discovery platform and seller mini-sites in South Carolina. In this policy, “WorkVan,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to WorkVan Eats, operated by Brandon Rowe, and any legal entity later identified as the operator of workvanweb.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Names, email addresses, phone numbers, communication preferences, and other contact information.
  • Seller names, food categories, menus, prices, pickup areas, serving times, websites, social links, descriptions, photos, proof links, and application answers.
  • Food posts, support messages, application decisions, denial reasons, and listing-change requests.

Information collected automatically

We may collect device and browser information, IP address, timestamps, pages viewed, referring pages, error logs, and actions such as taps on call, text, email, or website buttons. We use this information to operate, secure, measure, and improve the directory.

Future payment information

WorkVan Eats does not currently offer a live paid seller tier. If optional paid tools launch later, a payment provider may process charges. WorkVan will not receive or store full payment-card numbers.

3. How we use information

  • Receive, review, approve, deny, publish, organize, and maintain food-seller profiles and posts.
  • Send application decisions, account notices, and support responses.
  • Prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, and violations of our policies.
  • Understand platform performance and improve food search, categories, seller pages, posts, and customer experience.
  • Comply with law, enforce agreements, and protect WorkVan, sellers, visitors, and customers.

4. When we share information

We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party targeted advertising. We may share information with:

  • Service providers: companies that provide hosting, databases, authentication, email delivery, security, and related technical support.
  • The public: approved listing information that is intended to help customers evaluate and contact a business.
  • Legal and safety recipients: when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid process, investigate fraud, or protect rights and safety.
  • A business successor: in connection with a financing, reorganization, merger, sale, or transfer of WorkVan, subject to appropriate handling of the information.

5. Cookies, sessions, and sign-in

WorkVan and its providers may use cookies or similar technology for secure sessions, authentication, preferences, fraud prevention, and essential site operation. Sellers and administrators may authenticate through a supported sign-in provider. That provider may share basic identity information, such as name and email address, so WorkVan can connect the correct account.

6. Retention and security

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the directory, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and access safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of information you provided by emailing brandon@workvanweb.com. We may need to verify your identity. Some information may be retained when required for accounting, security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or the integrity of prior application decisions.

Sellers may update public contact information or request profile corrections. Removing a public profile does not necessarily delete internal application, fraud-prevention, or legal records.

8. Children

WorkVan is intended for adults and local businesses, not children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child provided information.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as WorkVan grows. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to brandon@workvanweb.com.
